Family InfoSAFE, a Web site where caregivers can store critical information about children, the elderly and other vulnerable people.

The paid service by Michael Fasulo of Delmar, N.Y. is designed to aid law enforcement in locating people who go missing.

Caregivers will pay $19.95 for each person registered on the site. They will be able to update photos and keep vital information current.

The information is not accessible to anyone except the registered caregivers. It would be available to law enforcement by way of a password, which would be provided by the caregiver.

Police then would distribute the information to other law enforcement agencies and the media.

The national site will go live at 10 a.m. Tuesday at zone5, at zone5’s offices at 25 Monroe St., Suite 300, in downtown Albany.

Fasulo now runs the northeast territory for Pillars to Post, a residential and commercial building inspector. He also founded Reindeer Games, a children’s store that includes a high-end brand of clothing called Tag-A-longs. The clothing is sold in Macy’s, Saks and a handful of other high-end retailers.

As security remains such a high priority, government agencies are expected to take advantage of the services, said John D’Allesandro. zone5’s vice president of regional development.

He said the first three hours are the most critical when trying to locate a missing person
